Fustercluck
Short list of things which into which I currently am:
- Psychoanalytic film theory — I try to leave, but it keeps calling me back
- That joke where you call the hero of an action movie by the title of the movie instead of by the character’s name. I’m pretty sure it’s a Homer Simpson joke: ie. “Did Die Hard give up when he had to blow up that helicopter with his car?” Most hilarious (to me): “It was so suspenseful when Cliffhanger was hanging off that cliff!”
- White tea
- Headbands as a hairstyling aid; they really complete my “whimsical librarian” look
- Kristen Bell being on Heroes

Did you really mean headbands? Or hairbands? To me the former are bands of fabric a la working out (although people do wear them day-to-day) and the latter are the horse-shoe shaped hard objects that push your hair back.
I love hairbands. I’m very into them right now. They complete otherwise incomplete outfits. AND get your hair off your face. Bonus!

Ashley: Yeah, I like Monica too. I don’t have much use for Maya and Alejandro, but at least their story got all sexy and violent last night. (I’m being vague in case you haven’t seen it, but suffice it to say, something actually happens with that.)
Jen: I mean what you’re calling hairbands. I always called them headbands when I was a kid, and have always used the terms interchangeably. Maybe it’s a regional thing? But yes, hard horse-shoe shaped objects that push the hair back are win — they also make your hair look more “done,” with no effort.

The old mini’s battery wasn’t lasting a round trip to school so I got an 8g touch on sale. I watched 2 eps of sportsnight today: there and back on the b-line. It’s basicly amazing.

Yeah I am so jealous, but I think I want something smaller for running with. But I am mostly jealous.

On sale? ON SALE? HOW DO YOU GET IT ON SALE?
(Also: WANT)

Not a huge sale. They’re $299 ($30 off) at Best Buy until tomorrow (maybe cheaper online, but mostly US sites so potential duty).
